Audio from Alpha NEX-3 or NEX-5 video captures come to life with the Sony ECM-SST1 Compact stereo microphone. Simply connect the microphone to the Smart Accessory Terminal, then attach the included wind screen to eliminate any wind noise. To save weight, no batteries are needed since the microphone draws power from the NEX camera body. The ECM-SST1 microphone also offers a selectable sound direction between 90 and 120 degrees.
