I usually use 5 star Enhanced Matte and tried a pack of this paper as part of an Epson promotion. I printed a series of 1950's B&W images on the Hot Press and compared it to the 5 star. Wow...nice difference! The Hot Press really brings out the contrast in a B&W print and gives it pop. Better grey tonality than the 5 star for these types of images without killing the highlights. I'm buying more and going to try it on high contrast color images next. Only pain is that you have to manual load it becuase of the thickness, but the thicker paper gives the print a better feel.
Pros: Good for Experts, Superior Build Quality, Good for Beginners, superior for b&w prints
