The Grip Head is used for direct attachment of an adapter ring onto a light stand - adapter ring used for Soft Box attachment. As a result, your lighting fixture will no longer need to support the weight of the Soft Box and its accessories. Westcott's Grip Head can also be used with the Scrim Jim Clamp.
