The heads are typical older generation technology by this manufacterer. Older technology true but extremely high build quality. Power and light output per dollar invested is a bargain. Recycle time is slow before they are ready for the next shot. Light stands are definitely super budget quality. The umbrellas are well made but too small for this offering. The Pulsar system is very limited and does not allow power adjustments to any strobe from the transmitter. IR feature on each strobe is a plus. Over all this is a good investment for basic studio work.
Pros: Simple Controls/Menu, Consistent Output, very well constructed
Cons: slow recycling, poor stands
