Great lens, my no. 1 lens

I use this lens on weddings, portraits and sports photography. Super fast AF, tacked and sharp pictures. Great bokeh shot at f2.8 and just meltdown the background. I used it one time in Greek Observatory (Hollywood, Ca) in low light with my son as the main subject in silhoutte with back light permanently pointed upward and the result was awesome. You don't need IS if you use tripod but I use it mostly outdoors with available light, the only downfall is it's heavy. It weighs almost 3 pounds but I can't complain. Excellent on fireworks, sunset and low light. If money is not the issue, get the 70-200mm F2.8L IS II USM. For now, I'm very satisfied with this lens and I strongly recommend it.
Pros: Great Bokeh, Fast Auto-Focus, Beautiful Colors/Contrast, Good Low-Light Performance
