The Dichroic Head draws on the technology of the famed Beseler 4x5 dichro lamphouses. The solid state 23CIII Dichroic Head delivers brilliant diffused illumination without the need of a separate power supply. Continuously variable dichroic filters have a 0 to 200cc range and can be retracted for white light focusing and composition on the easel, then replaced without disturbing the settings. The 23CIII Dichroic Head is convection-cooled and instantly interchangeable with any of the other 23CIII lamphouses. It includes a 6x9cm mixing chamber with built-in UV and IR filtration.
